This month our students are practicing the learner profile of caring! Below is a question for our students to tell us how they demonstrate being caring each day. We are hoping to see lots of great answers! Happy blogging!

How do you demonstrate being caring in the classroom everyday?

Tiaun and I speak daily about school lessons and that includes learner profiles and attitudes. He remember the characters of friendship and citizenship. Gee speaks often of filling instead of emptying a person's bucket, which is essentially edification.

Lillie talks about not being a bully. Being nice to each other. So you want hurt your classmate feeling. It's important to do this so your classmates will treat you the same way you treat them.

Hailey and I discussed the learner profile for this week. She and I both agreed that it is important to be caring for her friends and kids from other classes that she may not know. We discuss empathy in our household on a regular basis and Hailey understands that this means that we try and understand what another is going through and imagine how we would feel if it was happening to us. Then in a compassionate way we try and help them through their issues. These issues can be happy ones, sad ones, or difficult ones.
